Vireo is the ETD submission and management system developed by Texas Digital Library. It provides an easy student submission interface with an expert administrative interface, and it streamlines the depositing of approved ETDs into the TDL federated repository.
Texas A&M University demonstrated the application in Spring 2008 and was the first institution to fully deploy it in Spring 2009. For more information about Vireo and to view an introductory presentation of its purpose and features visit http://etd.tdl.org/ and the Vireo Users Group website.
TxETDA hopes to encourage Vireo use throughout the state as a means of increasing ETD submission.
