TDL members ranked among the world’s top institutional repositories

The Texas Digital Library blog recently shared the announcement (excerpt below) regarding the 50th place ranking of the TDL repository in comparison with other repositories world-wide.

The UT Digital Repository, launched in September of 2008 and a Texas Digital Library Institutional Repository, has been ranked #50 in the Ranking Web of World Repositories’ list of the top 400 institutional repositories in the world.

Two other Texas Digital Library-hosted repositories made the list of the top 400 institutional repositories: the Texas A&M University repository (#266) and the Texas Digital Library Federated Repository (#281). The repository of Texas State University (a TDL member) is ranked at #278.

Among its suite of digital services, the TDL hosts DSpace institutional repositories for its members and provides training and other technical support services for IRs. For more about the TDL Institutional Repository service, please visit the TDL website.
